Robert and Britt started installing siding in 1988 & 1989 respectively. They have installed siding and/or windows on a countless number of homes (and various other structures) throughout Washington, Oregon and even Louisiana.
Becoming frustrated at how a number of siding companies & contractors were taking advantage of homeowners with high prices and menial craftsmanship, Robert and Britt decided to make a difference. That's when they started B&J Construction (B&J stood for Bury & Jud) in October 1995 offering beauty, affordability, performance and craftsmanship. Then when looking to expand their business in 1999 after over 3 years in business they discovered that there was over 20 B&J Constructions in Washington alone. That's when the vision for Exciting Home Exteriors came into mind.
In an effort to educate more people about siding & windows and how much they should cost, this site was launched in early 2001. This site's growth & exposure skyrocketed - never experiencing anything less than a 200% growth from 2001 to 2004. Siding4u.com quickly became one of the most visited siding website's in the nation.
It became obvious that with the national exposure to 100's of 1,000's of searching Homeowners& Professionals looking for honest information and resources a jump must be made if our vision of improving the Siding & Window industry was to move forward. So, in September 2004 Exciting Home Exteriors stopped local contracting efforts and went completely internet based.
